Jessica Cox is an award-winning Producer, Writer, and Video Editor. Currently, Jessica works at Court TV as a Craft Editor and is the Founder of Scripps Neurodiversity, an employee resource group inside of The E.W. Scripps Company.

Her leadership and pursuit of creative excellence earned Jessica a Cynopsis Sports Media Award for a Regional/Local Marketing Campaign, 11 Emmy Award Nominations, a photography publication in “Power Players” (Sports Business Journal), and the title FOX Sports Woman of the Week and FOX Sports Woman of the Month among other accomplishments.

Before joining Court TV as an editor, Jessica specialized in On-Air Promotions at Bally Sports (formerly FOX Sports). Comfortable working alongside world-class athletes and leading top-tier creative talent, her deep understanding of various major league sports, combined with a natural ability to plan and lead the production process allowed Jessica to design storytelling campaigns that utilized all delivery platforms. She collaborated with major league teams on the conceptualization and execution of custom content for multi-channel delivery including broadcast, social media, and digital.

A veteran of the US Navy, Jessica left the service in 2009.  She then spent 6 months in Japan volunteering with the Armed Forces Network at the Misawa Air Force Base in Aomori.  This volunteer experience would be the catalyst for Jessica’s career in Broadcast Media.

On a personal level, Jessica enjoys ‘paying it forward’ through volunteer work and mentorship. She is currently the co-chair for the Scripps Neurodiversity Employee Resource Group at The E.W. Scripps Company. She was a student mentor at Cumberland Academy: Autism School of Atlanta in 2017 and 2018. Also, she was a member of FOX Vets, Women of FOX Sports, and Women in Sports Entertainment. She shares her love of all things four-legged through volunteer work at various animal rescues. She proudly served as part of a team that raised over $300,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2016.  It might also surprise you that Jessica is a classically trained violinist, who also spent 6 years in the Flag Line with the Baltimore Ravens Marching Band.

Originally from Smithsburg, Maryland, and having spent many years moving around the country, Jessica resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her son Sawyer. She’s passionate about raising awareness for Autism, Neurodiversity, Hearing Loss, and Mental Health. In her spare time, she is an avid reader with a love for learning and is growing as a Public Speaker and Author educating others about Neurodiversity.
